PatternGrid
The PatternGrid is designed for pattern quilting. The PatternGrid is
18" wide x 12' long and has 1/4" increments that are dotted lines and
1" increments that are solid lines. This is an essential tool when squaring
up patterns. The PatternGrids can be used to place parts of a pattern
the same distance away from the edges of your quilts.
For example in the picture with the Starry Night Pattern you will be able
to count the 1" increments of the Grid to the edge of your quilt to be
sure you have a moon and a star the same distance away from each
edge on the left and right sides of your quilt tops. This works great
with any pattern. The PatternGrid also ensures you will have that same
element of the pattern (a star, moon ...etc.) all the way down the
borders of your quilt.
The PatternGrid can also be used to design your own patterns. By using
the grid lines you will be able to space motifs evenly across the quilt.
